Hi Neil,
I listened/watched for your transmission Sunday evening but didn't see anything that I could positively
identify as your QRSS3 signal. Tonight I'm being plagued by a noise which seems to be coming from
a nearby power line. The winds here have been unreal, with gusts up to 60 mph, over the last 24 hrs.
I suspect the noise is coming from a cracked insulator from the lines being tossed about by the wind.
My own 120/240 service is underground from the transformer, but the 4800 V primary is a pole line
along my lane way and comes within 125 feet of the house. I'm hoping that the noise source is out
along the county road so the utility company has to fix it!
