Signals in general didn't seem very good last night on 518 kHz Navtex.
However, Curacao, area 4, H (1 of 2 stations signing that letter!)
decoded at 0913Z thanks to "local" G shutting down unusually quickly.
But of real interest was the signal that came on at 0400Z before Miami
fired up; it was Antofagasta, Chile, area 15, station A. And then at
1210Z as local sunrise neared, area 15, station I, Valparaiso, Chile
came through briefly before San Francisco fired up. Makes one wonder
what might be received if all the US and Canadian stations took a brief
holiday.
