Most welcome, Jim.  It occured to me that the same thing could be happening 
as sometimes does with images sent to the list.  If a person simply attaches 
an image file of small enough size to pass, all is usually OK.  But if the 
same image is sent embedded in an HTML message, it becomes part of the code 
that gets stripped out.

It might seem arbitrary to block HTML, but I can't blame qth.net for 
sticking with the more compact and efficient protocol when they have so much 
traffic to pass to so many users each day.  They certainly provide an 
excellent service for the amateur community.
