Im being plagued with noise from these dang Innotek fenceless dog devices that use a buried loop antennae and run at around 8-15KHz or so - trouble is they produce "pop pop pop pop pop" sounds on every say 8Khz with a say 5Hz Repetition rate or so up thru LF MF and into SW -
I just dont know how they can be FCC part 15 compliant but people tend to bury these single wire loop close to utility lines, and they then couple to these producing a reasonable effective array. I now have three within 0.5 miles radii -
Listening to Medium wave in the streets where these units are just in tolerable -
Ive attacked these by befriending the neighbors and adding suitable inline chokes on the loop itself (total 1mH with 0.5mH on each outlet of the loop) reducing the noise somewhat but still the unit is still coupling RF back thru its power supply into the 110V socket somewhat -
Im looking for a simple in line 3 pin typical USA style plug and socketed single RFI type AC 110V filter which has some decent reactance at LF and MF probably a 5A rating would do (!)-
I can see hoards of wired, terminalled Allan Bradleys or Corcoms out there but beyond a multi ported MFJ expensive unit that say it filters RF I cant see a lot I can purchase. Any pointers on manufacturers beyond Tripp-Lites chaps?
