LF has been fairly quiet here of late, but propagation not good. It was
better last night with quite a few distant DGPS stations decoding. For
example, 287 kHz, ID 060, MT; 291 kHz, ID 054, NM; 300 kHz, ID 172 and
318, WA and QC; 302 kHz, ID 262, CA; 303 kHz, ID 174, UT; 307 kHz, ID
200, CO; 312 kHz, ID 244 and 074, FL and NV; 313 kHz, ID 062, MT; 316
kHz, ID 068, WA; 321 kHz, ID 264, CA. Decoding was done using both
DSCdecoder and MultiPSK. The latter is generally more sensitive, but not
always, so it helps to run both programs together. It also helps to
receive with a loop or other antenna capable of pointing nulls because
nearly all frequencies are occupied by multiple transmitters.
