[Lowfer] HIFER QRM

I thought it would be worth posting a note of warning to others and my 
sad experience with Hfer listening.  I used to get good copy on most 
beacons here in DM04 but then I installed a new burglar alarm system, 
not realizing the consequences.  Turns out that it operates each of the 
'wireless' sensors using control signals sent in the Hifer band.  
Continuous transmissions which completely wipe out any hope of copying 
any Hifer whatever.  This is even when I use my beam which is located at 
least 75 feet from the house. Can't even receive NC, 'the old 
reliable'!!   It's too much of a hassle and expense to have the system 
removed or deactivated so I'm living with the situation, much to my 
disappointment.
