Got up early this morning to try for MBD, but not quite early enough.  I got 
the end of a B and a nice clean D, but started losing clarity during the 
next M.  Just bits and pieces of letters for almost two hours during a spell 
of increased atmospheric static that also took out WMS for a while.  Things 
started quieting down just before sunrise and I got a nice M and B before 
the signal itself faded around 7 AM CST.  Will stitch together a capture of 
the session and post on the LW Message Board this evening.  (I'll apologize 
in advance for the wandering trace.  I'm checking out another receiver that 
seems to be more sensitive to temperature variations in the car than my 
original radio is...or maybe it's responding to battery voltage variations. 
It also has a dreadfully, drearily long warmup time.)

Tuned down to 40 kHz to see if JJY was still around, and was it ever! --the 
strongest I've ever seen it here, in fact, swinging the S-meter nearly 4 
units above the background noise on key-down.  As I was marveling over that, 
there was a sudden burst of Morse "JJY JJY" from the speaker, right at 7:15 
AM.  Hadn't ever heard it so clearly before.  Got some very good decodes on 
Multi-PSK Clock, too.
