That really could be a problem for me! I might try to use the radio as a noise source to drown out household noise while trying to go to sleep. The spurs could ruin it for that!

My R-75 has lots of spurs! The reason I have never noticed is that when any antenna I use is connected the background noise way overrides the spurs. So be aware, if you plan to use a R-75 without an antenna the spurs may be a problem.
