It was nice to have a chance to see XNS in the daytime here in Kansas.

I didn't notice Jay's message until well past noon, but the signal was 
relatively constant in level from when I first saw it (several dB lower than 
MP's slight dogbones, but still quite clear) until just before 5 PM Central, 
when the two signals traded strength over the course of five to ten minutes, 
and XNS began exhibiting dogbones instead during the next 30 minutes of 
pre-sunset transition here.  I'd love to have watched further, but for 
several reasons had to vacate the premises around sunset at 5:30.
