Found this advice from VK4ZVB on the WSPR website, regarding WSPRX level
settings:
"Not finding a desirable level recommendation in the guide, I took the easy
out and slowly advanced the level looking at the waterfall and decodes.
The Ideal level seems to be when the noise level in the passband 1400 to
1500Hz has a nice very light speckled noise on the blue background (spots
no where near touching each other)."
