[Lowfer] Current Propagation

Last evening the LFBC stations were coming in here maybe the with the 
strongest signal I have seen in a long time.  Had it not been for the 
static crashed from the storms to the west stations on 162, 171, 183 and 
189 khz would have sound like locals.  189 from Iceland was especially 
strong and consistent.  At midday today and now at 2 p.m. I am receiving 
WSM, Nashville, very well but with deep fades.  At about 360 miles WSM 
is usually undetectable here during the day.  From past years receptions 
I have seen the best LF propagation from now until about the end of 
January.  Seems like propagation would peak in the northern hemisphere 
right around winter solstice.
