Laurence, not sure what to make of the "signal" I saw at/near 506.8817
kHz. BDQ was strong lower in frequency and it appears that one and
possibly two X's were received. But no sign of P and Q. I know that
Eric, WG2XJM reported receiving an X and a Q and John, VE7BDQ received
XPQ well so perhaps my "signal" is a spur. I do run a hifer beacon not
far from the e-probe I was using.
Storms from the South made for a somewhat noisy LF reception night.
Signals were good initially to the East. Greenland NDB SI on 279 kHz was
quite strong and ASN, 360 kHz on St. Helena was copied at 9300 km.
Canadian beacons in NU and later BC were pretty good. This morning the
VLF Alpha triplet is coming in well.
