That is not likely since the sound card in and out is transformer isolated and the dame system works well with ARGO, WSPR and its derivatives as well as many other digital programs

Since JASON is and old program and Windows 7 has some problems with older 32 bit software and since the waterfall display did not work properly (it did not respond to frequency changes) and when the interface system worked very well with ARGO running at the same time as a test........  I do not think I was jumping at conclusions by suggesting Windows 7 was a possibility. ARGO was only run at the same time as JASON as a test .

Not sure what the problem was but I am confident it was not a ground loop problem with my cables.

easy to say it's a windows problem but perhaps it's really a 60Hz +
cable problem?
