[Lowfer] HDTV RFI reduction - Thank you for the help

Greetings Gentlemen:

Thank you for all the responses so far, both on, and off list
It has been quite some time since I have had to do any type of
RF Snooping around the QTH.. Until the recent purchase of the 
new HDTV; I had my station quiet on the receive side.. Literally
spending weeks tracking down each noise source, then replacing, 
or filtering the hooey out of the power supplies, shielding, or
replacing cables, etc.. You guys have once again provided for a
wealth of information.. And a lot of it I " remembered " doing
previously, but over time had forgotten about it when all was
quiet on the home front.. This round of posts has however provided 
me with aditional info. On chokes, and suppression methods that I
can't recall reading about yet... SO.. lots of info to digest,
and begin the TV noise hunt / elimination process.. I'm sorry I'm
slow in responding.. My Father-In-Law is in the hospital, and in
grave condition.. Our family is very chaotic at the moment..
And of course, first things first !! Be here for my wife, and the
family.. The radio, when time allows, offers myself a mental break
from the stress load.. The low frequency band noise is a great
cure for insomnia.... hi - hi
