QSB was very bad here in Kansas tonight on all but XNS and MP.  Present but 
difficult to get all letters were XGJ, XES, SL, XKO (though it came in more 
solidly after midnight) and XEB,  There were bits of what was probably NA, 
but could not say for sure, and bits and pieces of something around 137.774. 
There's no one screen that contained everybody simultaneously.

Static began increasing around midnight as well.  Had no luck at 1750 m due 
to that.  After checking a few other things, I was going back to 2200 m, but 
the receiver suddenly became stone deaf.  Not having either tools or the 
stamina to troubleshoot in the field at 15 degrees F, I decided discretion 
is the better part of valor and retreated to home.
