Hi all!

Happy New Year!

I wish you had wonderful Holidays with all your families. We sure did,
and specially enjoyed them this year.

This Weekend, when I had about to give up on the SDR-IQ, I tried it on a
new 79' tuned shielded loop that I made from RG6 and that I raised
ChristmasWeekend connected to my Quad Core Windows 7 64 bit computer
runningon SpectraView and SDR-Radio (the later working, I thought the
best). Sound card is Realtek.

I am pleased to report that with that combination plus adding and
Advanced Receiver's Research Preamp (10Khz to 20MHz) and my Clifton Labs
BCB filter I now perceive to be receiving QUIETER and many more weak
signals than the TS-2000 in the 1 to 500 KHz band.

Last night, after celebrating the arrival of 2013 with my children and
grandchildren at my nearby daughter's home, I tried to setup WSPR and
ARGO unsuccessfully to receive, since I was not able to adjust down the
Rx noise to ZERO dB(on the lower left hand corner of the WSPR form), nor
to see the heard signals on ARGO.

Could any of you, SDR-IQ owners, you send me a pic of your WSPR setup
page with the SDR-IQ and perhaps and explanation of how you adjust the
Audio Gain to achieve the required results?

I wish you all and your families a 2013, with good health, peace and
prosperity.

Sincerely and 73

Juan /K4LCD - WF2XXQ
