FB Jon! If you ever get the chance to buy some of the old Lowdowns, 
especially from the 80's - 90's, there is some fascinating reading to be 
had. There were some very dedicated and hardcore lowfers back then. As 
someone mentioned here, the west coast was a hotbed of activity which makes 
it hard to understand why there is so little activity from California and 
the west in general these days.
