Opera got off to a bad start, IMO, due to questionable web sites and
possible malware. Is it a better digital mode than WSPR-15 or WOLF for weak
signals on LF? I don't know. I prefer to let the more adventurous
experimenters among us figure that out, as I quite simply don't have time
to fool with such things right now.

Opera seems to be somewhat popular in Europe, from what I can gather,
though Stephan, DK7FC, mostly prefers to transmit in QRSS or WSPR.

As for myself, I don't plan to experiment with OPERA at all, until such
time as it has proven itself to be free of malware and at least competitive
with QRSS and WSPR. Again, it is just a matter of available free time for
me.
