We too had an iguana for over 15 years.  He passed away on Feb. 28th. 2010, which I was told
a very good age for one in captivity.  We where told that he was about 3 years old when we got
him.  For a cold blooded creature, he was extremely fond of attention and even got along OK
with our cat.  He was trained to use a litter box and he had the run of the house during the day.
Usually we'd find him up on the wall unit in the living room, but if the bathroom door was left
open, he be in the tub.  We really miss Drax, as he was "family".
