First, thanks for all the well wishes from everyone.

The first thing I did was to hire my own private insurance adjuster.
He's due here any minute. He had a disaster guy come over first thing
yesterday to close up the hole. He cut the branch in the room. I had
put a tarp over it but part of the tree was in the room and I couldn't
keep all the snow out. It's now sealed with plywood.
The tree was a huge white pine. It was made up of 4 trunks. 2 broke
away. One is still on the house. The other slid down the side of the
house and crushed my daughter's car. There is structural damage to the
house according to the disaster repair guy that came over. The part of
the tree still on the house will have to be removed by a boom truck or
crane. Unknown what damage the roof has sustained. And a wall is buckled.

My adjuster just left. An engineer is going to be called in. And we're
on a waiting list for tree service.
Needless to say, my antennas took a beating. The big loops and Burhan
are gone. I still have a "mini-whip" and my sloping dipole seems OK.

Our power came back on this morning.
I worked today and it was super busy. The beach area in Manomet looks
like a bomb went off. We were doing lots of well-being checks on the
elderly. Some went to the shelter, others opted to stick it out, a few
went to the ER for exposure.

All in all, we were very lucky. Thank God. No one was hurt. The
damage can be repaired. Things could have been a lot worse.

I hope everyone else is OK.
