Update 0330Z:   14 inches ... which makes it now about a 2"/hr storm. Heard on the WX Channel there 
is a band of 5" / hr sweeping across CT ... that's about the highest "/hr number I've heard of. 
Receivers now shut down and antennas grounded as signals can no longer make it through over the 
static.

Mitch ... that's pretty impressive. The most I've seen from snow static is arcs jumping unterminated 
PL-259s. Makes a nice snap, though.
