And finally, some of my later 137.78 captures of the evening.  Earlier in 
the afternoon, the three stations varied in level by a couple of dB 
according to Argo, but remained in much the same proportion to each other 
overall.  I went up to 1750m for an hour and a half, and when I came back to 
2200 just before sunset, things had changed quite significantly.  Even with 
occasional static crashes 3 and 4 S-units above the AGC threshold, all three 
stations would have been easily decodable in QRSS3.

During the QRSS30 capture, I kept having to back the receiver output and 
Argo's sensitivity down.  XKO was about 8 dB stronger than the other two, 
but MP and XGJ were both within a dB of each other by that time.  Not sure 
what to make of that, but it was pretty neat to see.  Not bad for the first 
impromptu test!
