Doug, thanks for reporting copy of SIW. Also monitored the LF watering
hole over night, even though SIW ground wave rather overloaded the
reception. Attached is a composite of SJ, WMS, TAG, and MBD at various
time through the night. My second receiver was tuned to 518 kHz Navtex.
Too bad I didn't have it on 187.2 kHz for PBO.
Navtex was just okay. Decoded Bermuda and Puerto Rico but no Greenland.
To the west, the 3 USA stations decoded (C,Q,W) along with Tofino (H).
Didn't decode Prince Rupert but saw it in there once after Miami finally
shut up.
I share Andy's view that propagation has tailed off recently. Hopefully
it will make a comeback before the LF "season" ends.
