I bought two of the converters from him. They do not have as much gain as
others like Palomar, but they are better for the ability to minimize the LO
in output and precisely adjust the LO frequency. The lower gain is of
course not a problem as that can be fixed with the input. I do not think he
built very many but I know one other person that has one.
