Well, I just bid on and won all twelve of the 1983 issues of Radio
Electronics.

Why do any of us care?

Well, because these issues contain the R.W. Burhans VLF/LF articles, that's
why. Burhans was the first, to my knowledge, author to publish worthwhile
technical articles and schematics on active whip antennas, as well as
shielded loops and passive wire "tuners' for VLF/LF.

Just about every successful VLF/LF receive antenna that has been designed
or constructed since 1983 has some origin in these magazines.

I already have all these articles, copied years ago, in grainy format, from
my local university library.

Now, once I receive them, I plan to scan them into high quality PDF
files....for my own use, of course.

Not sure what to say beyond this, without violating copyright laws. I have
been at a loss finding these excellent articles on the internet. Radio
Electronics is long out of publication, and I am completely at a loss as to
who holds the rights to these now.

All I know is I purchased and paid for these magazines, and therefore I own
them (when they arrive).
