Late getting on. Just finished putting new coil in-well new to me coil.  A good friend gave it to me but once got looking it over someone modified the turns and I had to reinstall that.  Nuts and bolts missing and finally had to fit in same place as old one and that just didn't happen with out new stand off insulators, drilling holes-etc.  Turned into a 6 hour job rounding up parts and install-nothing is ever easy! 
On now seems to work great-no spittin and sputtering-so far-Bob
And yes, I have PSK 31 loaded in one of the PC's.  Also Navtex might be good...
