Had multiple WSPR15 spots for WG2XRS/4 tonight in DM79kv near Denver.
Been copying easily since 6:30p local time when I turned the receiver on.
Tried to copy and paste from the WSPR text window and it had the convenient function of closing the program. So guess you have to take my word for it !! This happened to me last year when I used WSPR15. I remember now that I had to use a "snipping" image capture tool. There is probably a simple way to save the text window but I'm not sure. But, attached is an image capture of one that I just received at 0400 UTC.
On another related issue, I've been listening to the 73.0 khz USB freq, and for the third time tonight, I've heard CW stations, sending about 20 wpm, as if they are answering each other. It sounds automated. At least it sounds like two different stations. About an RST 569 signal strength. The exchange goes on for about 30 seconds, and here are some bits I copied:
.....RGRT station #1
PP station #2
PNET station #1
NENT station #2
NENG station #1
NEGA station #2
NEGN.....station #1
WHAT IS THIS ?? I just recorded it at 0422 UTC. It is a 693kb mp3 recording if anyone would like a copy I'll send it to you. It could easily not be on this frequency, and possibly a mixing product, since I also can hear WWVB in the background !! The active antenna I'm using to listen at 74 khz frankly is not too impressive with respect to IMD performance considering how much it cost ! My $20 homebrew mini-whip outperforms it in this respect....
