Is there an up to date list of stations and frequencies of active beacon
stations on 630 meters . I am looking for the ones running their beacons
during the summer .
Also are any of them by chance running QRSS30 or 60 ?
I have the new Chinese X1M PRO transceiver that I am testing here .
It is a 4.5 watt transceiver that comes with filters for it to operate
on the 80-40-20-15-10 meter ham bands on USB/LSB/CW .
However one change on the menu and it will put out a non filtered signal
from 100 kHz. through 30 MHz. General coverage receiver from 100 kHz. to
30 MHz.
It is about a half inch longer than a postcard and a quarter inch wider
than one and is 1 1/2 inches tall .
Night before last I copied WSPR signals on it all night on 30 meters .
Last night I copied QRSS3 signals all night long on 30 meters . The
stability was very good to great at QRSS3 .
So now I am wanting to do some more receive testing on the MF and LF
bands with the receiver .I will eventually try all of the MF/LF bands
when signals and conditions permit .
We do have the chance of thunderstorms later this evening so this may
not be a good night , but I would just like to know who I can listen for
and on what mode and frequency as conditions permit .
So far for $ 300 from a USA dealer it is looking very good as a QRP
transceiver . It also has a DB-9 port on the back and will match
partially with some of the Icom commands from HRD . The signal level is
TTL .
Thanks ,
