Hello Charlie,

After I complete assembly of Hans' beacon in WSPR mode I will start
experimentig on 10M.
After that is successful, I will start with DEMI transverters to get to
2M and 222 MHz.
Longer term may be the DEMI/N5AC VHF LO synthesizer for the carrier on
6M, 4M, 2m, 222 MHz, with someone's beacon keyer.

With WSPR I can operate on the WSPR frequency, outside of the normal
fast CW beacon band and avoid any entangled frequency coordination issues.
A few years ago I made preliminary inquries into a QRSS beacon, GPS/DO
stabilized, but they were only allocating KHz bandwidth allocations and
they were all used up.
They did not want to hear of the 1 Hz (<10Hz) allocation I needed for QRSS.

I will go to the beacon site and order up some more filters. Thanks for
the info.

The FLUKE metrology amplifier sounds nice, KrohnHite also makes an
amplifier, but I only have a Hafler P3000.

Similarly, I have a lot of projects, but they will come to a screeching
halt when my next full time semester starts next month.

I am still sorting out my RX issues with 72.4 KHz. No success yet. 10
GHz + Contest this weekend.
