Hi Warren I have one built (about 4 hours inc box bashing) and running 400mW on HF WSPR/QRSS on HF and awaiting the new 470/137kHz filters for the second one - Ill leave the filters outboard and will build them into a switch box for easy switching between bands for the seond unit - its pluggable filters for the first at the moment.
The unit is GPS 1pps and NMEA ref coded from my outboard G3RUH 10MHz GPS locked clone and pretty dang clever for its size and lack of complexity and Im sure a square wave can be extracted to drive a PA
- I havent yet played with stability down at LF/MF at slow dot speeds. There are a load of notes on DDS stability and how it can be improved -which can be an issue as the daughterboard is running at 125MHz and is kind of temp concious) but mine is fine at 10/14MHz with a pennysitting atop the Xtal ref osc can. You have to get used to pressing 2 buttons in the right sequence for programming and Im still learning :-) but after a while scrolling thru the set up get easier.
Shipping comes in small packet and arrives in a few days from Japan - and ordered frin the Hans summers qrplabs web site.
It also has a qrplabs yahoo web site where all the odd questions on operation and revs' are loaded.
I built this as a back up for the highly stable ZL1BPU DDS we all love :-)
Im running V2.03 code at the moment

Subject: [EXTERNAL][Lowfer] Hans Summer "Ultimate QRSS" kit?
Just saw the following kit for 17.5 GBP, exciter that can transit
anywhere from 500Hz to 40+MHz in QRSS, WSPR, DFCW, Hell and others. Has
provisions for GPS locking:

Anyone know about this?
