My friend , Charles Wenzel , located in Austin , Texas , now has a "grabber"
active on the "watering hole."

The URL for his grabber is : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/22614505/grabber.jpg

He is also using some new homebuilt equipment designs and is hoping for some
stations that are active at the present time .

Seems kind of strange not to have a "flagship" LowFER beacon in Texas .

No TX and no WEB , we need to find more people interested in getting on the
lowfer band . It would be wonderful to have at least one beacon from each
state .

I plan on having a nice remote receiver with a very good antenna and preamp
, located at the highest point in Craig County , OK .

Hopefully I can really stretch some of my receiving distances this season .
The remote receiver will allow me to also be able to run a beacon from my
home QTH .
