Doug, the normal view of VLF propagation is as noted by JD. Nonetheless,
I receive the Alpha stations best in the morning around sunset and in
the winter months. That's also when NWC, 19.8 kHz in Australia peaks.
The european VLF stations come in best for me in the evening and fade
through the night. DHO38 on 23.4 kHz is the exception that often stays
visible all day. The preceding are based on use of an e-probe and SDR-IQ.
After the 10 GHz and Above contest this weekend and an out-of-town trip
toward the end of the month I hope to have lowfer SIW again QRV and
giving TAG some company.
