[Lowfer] VLF Alpha stations

"Curious about propagation at those frequencies. Do you hear the Alphas in 
the daytime, or only at night."

Propagation that low is little affected by the time of day.  Here in Kansas, 
I copy them day or night if Mother Nature's big Class B undamped emission 
generators are sufficiently distant.  How many I copy depends how many sites 
are actually on the air; sometimes there are gaps in the sequence on any 
given frequency.
