Garry: Thanks for the confirmation on the 27.2 kHz signal, I did not have the waterfall running, just 100Hz audio DSP filter so my reported freq was approximate and the second station a guess.  Signal went from about S6 down to S1 (about 20dB from prior step attenuator experience). When the stronger signal ended it had that carrier-like sound similar to the end of an RTTY transmission, then a weaker signal continued in MSK.

 Using the HD-1420 and my EWE antennas down there.  I still have some buzzsaw hash below 20 kHz I need to figure out how to exorcise.  I did hear something the other day in the 17 kHz range that was likely TACAMO as well.

Nice to know the old Heathkit boat anchor actually works half-decently.
