Thanks John - the path to the East (south East) isn't a good one and I had only one reception (from memory) with XDW from here from Lyle way back when. Still its worth a pop as Im running a little more ERP than 2003.
I had no decodes on WSPR overnight but the tx was heatsink on the Tx modules were actually cold on switchoff this morning - ok it was around 35F in the garage and 15F outside - it helps.
I didn't check the ATU components as there are a few trip hazards and a small possibility of things that can eat you between the garage and the antennae - and as Im sporting a cast from a broken ankle even Im not that stupid....this time anyway.
