[Lowfer] Antenna Capacitance Question

>From my reading and research on the subject I think 150 to 175 pf is pretty average. When I built Lowfer JAM my research of the top hat subject suggested that more pf in the air would allow a lower value and less lossy loading coil. So my target was 300pf. Currently I have a top hat of six 15 ft radials all being bounded together with a scirt wire on the perimeter. Some guys running antenna simulations reported that having a scirt wire was as efective as doubling the number of top hat radials. That would make my installation as effective as having 12 top hat radials. Right now my meter reading top hat capacitance is between 300pf and 350pf. Removing the scirt wire would probably drop me back to the 150pf to 175pf range.
