Hello the list,
The ARRL will be filing comments on the FCCs proposed amateur
allocation at 137kHz.
In the FCCs notice they are proposing a 1W EIRP limit and possible
ADDITIONAL restrictions to protect PLC systems.

It has been my experience with WD2XGJ running up to 4W ERP (6.5W EIRP) 900'
away from a power line with an active PLC that there is problem.
Further Bob W2ZM has run WE2XEB with up to 10W ERP (16W EIRP) with no
problem.
I spoke to Dan Henderson N1ND at HQ - he is interested in our comments, but
to be timely they need to be submitted before the Execuive Committee
conference call Thursday evening.
You can send comments to Dan at n1nd at arrl.org or send them to me and I'll
incorporate them into my comments.
I will put my comments up on my web site and send out a link to this list
before sending to ARRL.
Tnx & 73 Warren K2ORS
