[Lowfer] Puzzle on my antenna Z

I have used my 53 foot vertical for a month or so and it seems to perform reasonably well. When I read the Z from the feed point to ground with my Rig Expert 30, I get a strange result.

It reads 47 - j950. The capacitance reads 330 pF  .

The 47 ohms is the puzzling measure. I would expect less than 2 ohms. I get a decent match by just cancelling the capacitance reactance but not sure what is going on.

Any ideas?
