Andy,
I do appreciate the time spent trying! I have lots of work to do yet and I
also may get  a crystal to get me down in the watering hole.That may make it
easier for everyone.I hope you nail down that noise source!

I have tried for 2 nights here, with no success... HOWEVER !! It is not
totally
due to your antenna.. The frequency you are on has always been a very 
noisy one at my QTH.. and last night was certainly no exception to that
rule..
In a 2.4 KHz BW, with no Noise Reduction of any kind; the S-meter was 
sitting at a constant 35 dB over S-9, and continuious peaks to 40 dB over..
This is pretty much a guaranteed " ain't gonna copy nothin thru that noise "

With every filter I have engadged; the resting S-meter reading is an S-7...
my normal resting S-meter reading is an S-3.. Under these circumstances;
it is most likely that I will not be able to dig your signal out of the
noise..
 
BUT !! I certainly Did try... 73 and good luck with the new antenna:
