Thanks for the report. I added 4 long radials at lunch time to get the total to 18. Adding a few a day and it is lowering the transmitter impedance and hopefully increasing the signal strength.

Hi All: WG2XCT was peaking around -41dB on both my Heath HD-1420 converter with the FT-847 as 3.5~4.0 MHz (3.997.000) IF and directly on 497.0 kHz on the FT-847 dial. Signal seems slightly better on the HD-1420 but not enough to make a definite difference given the constant QSB nature of the band....
