I had a power supply failure after putting the WG2XCT Beacon on the air last night. It is back on the air at 497.00 KHz  QRSS3 from EM94bw. Should be on until something else fails. Reports are greatly appreciated

Those Chinese linear power supplies can't cut it. The transmitter pulls about 15 amps and it has cooked  two 20 amp supplies so far. One was rated 22 amps max and the other 25 amps max. looks like I am going to have to build one from the iron from the dead ones. It's not the iron, it is the lousy heat-sinks and low output transistor count.  Maybe unregulated is OK?
