Hi Doug, Lowfers,

Yes, you are correct in that it runs along a fence line between myself and my farmer neighbour to the east.  The ground is mostly stone and pit-run
gravel except right at the termination where I was lucky enough to find sandy soil with a spring!  The six foot copper pipe which I use for grounding
the terminating resistor was pushed in the first four feet by hand!  It's one of my best antennas.
