[Lowfer] call for beacon updates

DIR is lost its antenna in a storm a while back. With a new job I'm rarely home,
so I haven't had a chance to repair it. The keyer and transmitter are still set
up, so I hope to get it back on the air again someday, but it won't be anytime
soon.

Subject: [Lowfer] call for beacon updates

With the optimum LF season winding down, replaced by spring or even summer
in parts of the country, some operators have been or soon will be shutting
down their 2200 meter and 1750 meter LowFER stations until fall.

SJ and SIW have already let us know about their operations ending for the
season. If you will be doing likewise, please notify me ASAP so I can keep
the list updated, and thereby keep potential listeners happy because you
haven't wasted their time. Replying here or on the LW Message Board
(http://lwca.org/mb/) are the two best ways for me to see you and update the
lists.

On the other hand, HiFER operators are requested to report their modes and
schedules too (and otherwise let me know they're still around) so we can get
the most people possible listening for them once again.
