One thing about it...any copy of this test today should be purely 
groundwave.  In addition to the possibility of R1-level radio blackouts, 
solar X-ray flux is high enough for absorption events all the way up to 4 or 
5 MHz across North America according to Proplab.  With respect to MF, the D 
layer is likely to be warm and thick as oatmeal...figuratively speaking.
