Hi Tod try using Spectran for that purpose it has filters in, but this
doesnt help if the signal overloaded the ADC. You could try turning the
audio level right down and let the big signal hit the MSB and be clipped in
the sampling I think. I am not sure what that does, but it involves playing
around with levels. Albert may have other suggestions :-))
