That's correct Doug.  Running the SDR-IQ with either SpectraVue, which 
comes with the IQ, or SDR-RADIO ( http://www.sdr-radio.com/ ) gives you 
audio that can be used by decoders like Argo and Spectran.  Under  
"Setup, Select Input,  Chose Real Time Input" select "Stereo Mix".   
SpectrunLab also is compatible with the IQ.  Of all the receivers I have 
if I could only keep one it would be the SDR-IQ.  Mine is from the first 
run made received without an enclosure.  I don't believe it can be 
bought now without the enclosure but just in case someone has a board 
that needs a very rugged case I mounted mine in a box from Paul, W1VLF,
