jack was designed for audio routing. apps which are not written directly to jack's API can still connect to it via their pulseaudio/portaudio sources/sinks or ALSA PCM plugin.. audio routing really is a breeze. just plug lysdr[1]'s output into fldigi with patchage[2]

use an SDR-IQ and soft66 on linux myself, with linrad, quisk, and a branch of lysdr with frequency agility and some other features/changes [3] cant really talk about the experiences on other OSes. have yet to try glfer. what do you suggest, 30-meter QRSS beacons? if you have speecific questions besides saying audio-routing is just bad, perhaps we could help..
