This is what I have run into with every software defined radio that I
have researched. SDRs like Winradio's Excalibur Pro, and the SDR-IQ have
excellent specifications, but the software that they come bundled with does
not have LF specific functions such as QRSS. For that, you need to purchase
additional software that acts as a "virtual sound card" to allow us to use
the software that is specific to low frequency DX work...i.e. Argo,
Spectran, and Spectrum Lab.


I am trying, really trying, to justify an SDR purchase......I just need the
"push" from a vendor that is sympathetic to us VLF/LF aficionados.
