I love the SDR-IQ.  I started with a PMSDR (my first SDR) about 2 yrs 
ago and upgraded to the SDR-IQ.  I also have a Flex 1500 but I use that 
for HF work only.  The PMSDR was OK but the IQ is a magnitude better.  I 
chase NDBs and the IQ really shines.  For LF work, I use a W1VLF LPF.  I 
was using HDSDR as my main control software but I have switched to 
SDR-Radio Console.
To use decoding programs you need to get the audio out of the control 
program/computer back into the decoder.  Naturally there aren't any 
cables so you need another program.  I use Virtual Audio Cable.  It's 
not a free program but I believe there is a similar free program out 
there.  It's real easy.  Just a matter of choosing your inputs and 
outputs like you would with a knobby radio and the computer with cables.

Listening and looking at NDB-OZN Prins Christian Sund / Kitaa, 
Greenland.  Looks like it might be a good night for LF.
