[Lowfer] OPERA Problems OK Now

Hi All,
I have successfully downloaded the latest version of OPERA v1.0.3.
When I asked it to run, my Norton AV software kicked in again
and deleted the file.

I asked Norton why it would not accept the file and it said the file
was behaving suspiciously and that it had only seen the file 5 times
before.

Since others seem to be using the file successfully I asked Norton
to accept the file.

It seems to be running normally with no problems and I see the waterfall
so it looks
like it is ready to receive. I am not detecting any signal right now on
Jay's
frequency but perhaps he will be running later on this evening or else
skip
conditions on 500KHz are not good enough right now for long-distance
reception.

So it looks like this may have been a false alarm from Norton because it
was not familiar with the file or the way it is operating.

I don't notice any other problems with the file and I hope I will be
able to start using it to receive signals with. So if someone else's
AV software doesn't like the file I would say just tell it to accept the
file.
